Portland, December 20th. The Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall was packed with Pink Martini fans ready for holiday cheer. Japanese star Saori Yuki joined Thomas Lauderdale and the band on stage to sing and thank Portland area residents for their generosity following the Japanese tsunami and its devastating aftermath. The concert also marked the return of Pink Martini lead singer, China Forbes. Storm Large had been replacing Forbes on tour while she recovered from serious surgery to treat bleeding in her vocal cords.
