Portland, May 31st, 2013. On the cusp of their 30th anniversary season, the Miracle Theatre Group (AKA Milagro) hosted over 130 guests at the Scottish Rite Event Center for Gala Milagro: ¡Celebrando Argentina! DJ John Henry Dale, Angela Bolanos and Miracle MainStage Artistic Director Olga Sanchez  helped launch the inaugural gala which raised  over $50,000.

Emcee Enrique Andrade, a seasoned Milagro actor last seen in Miracle Theatre’s Dia de los muertos production Raiz, enjoys a signature cocktail made possible by Stone Barn Brandy Works, Eastside Distilling, and New Deal Distillery; in the background, Tango Sombra, played festive Argentine tango music.

It was a vibrant evening with dance performances, live music, signature cocktails, dinner catered by Crave Catering and a live auction—all with an Argentine flair! The organization’s first ever Gala Milagro was not only a joyous celebration, but also a significant fundraising success raising over $50,000 for Milagro’s coming 30th anniversary season! Gala Milagro: ¡Celebrando Argentina! was sponsored by Gold Sponsors Willakenzie Estate and H.E.L.P.
