Over the years, these caring women have purchased critical hospital equipment, provided nursing student scholarships and assisted with funding transformational endeavors, such as upgrades in the Family Birth Center, the Stenzel Garden Pavilion and, most recently, Legacy Good Samaritan’s reimagined Emergency Department.

Oregon Governor Kate Brown proclaimed April 27, 2017 Women of Good Samaritan Celebration Day, which commended the philanthropic group as “caring and forward-thinking women who have pooled their annual membership gifts to raise more than $1.8 million in support of Legacy Good Samaritan.”
