Portland, May 9th, 2014. Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon’s (PRO) fifth annual dinner and auction “Cirque du Hope,” was celebrated at the Sentinel Hotel. With more than 300 guests, “Cirque du Hope showcased an exciting French circus atmosphere and was an unforgettable evening for all as PRO raised more than $230,000. Mary Valentine visited with and Debra Millegan at the event. Debra Millegan, who lives with young onset Parkinson’s disease, chaired the event. Her talent and dedication to lead the hard working team was inspirational. The event was sponsored in part by Providence Brain and Spine Institute, Waste Connections, The Standard and Elite Care.
